JOSEPH V. DOLISI

CEO & Founder | NBPA Certified Player Agent

Joseph Dolisi serves as the CEO & Founder of Credo Sports & Entertainment, a premier sports management firm located in New York. Joseph is a licensed attorney for the state of New York, and became certified NBA Player Agent/Contract Advisor in January of 2017 by successfully passing the newly administered certification examination proctored by the NBA Players Association. 


During law school, Joseph worked for the NBA Coaches Association under the late Executive Director Michael H. Goldberg, as well as the current Executive Director David Fogel. While at the NBCA, he worked on various legal projects for all Head and Assistant coaches, including projects for coaches Rick Carlisle, Dwane Casey, David Joerger, Jason Kidd, and Terry Stotts.

After graduating from law school, Joseph worked at Priority Sports & Entertainment, a prestigious sports management firm that represents numerous NBA and NFL athletes. As a part of their legal division, he assisted in reviewing and drafting marketing and employment contracts. Joseph received his Juris Doctorate from New York Law School in May of 2016 and became a licensed attorney for the State of New York in May of 2017.

Prior to law school, he graduated from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia, PA with a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. Joseph grew up on Long Island, NY and spent most of basketball career playing for the Long Island Lightning AAU program. Joseph went on to attend St. Anthony’s High School, where he was the captain of the varsity basketball team. 

Joseph believes very strongly in helping the community, and is in the process of creating a 501(c)3 non-profit organization to help rebuild and refurbish basketball courts in underprivileged areas across the United States.

FRANK X. DOLISI

President

Frank X. Dolisi serves as the President of Credo Sports and Entertainment. Additionally, he is currently an investor in both the real estate private equity and venture capital space. Frank has spent his entire career in private equity, most recently with Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co., and has executed over $4 billion of transactions across equity, credit, securities and corporate finance. 


Growing up, Frank played AAU basketball for the Long Island Lightning program based in Garden City, NY. His team competed in the AAU Nationals five times, twice finishing in the top 10. He attended Baruch College in New York, NY, where he was recruited to play Division III basketball, and graduated with a B.A. in Economics. He remains active in the basketball community, and serves on the emerging leaders counsel for New Heights Youth, Inc., a non-profit sports-based youth development and education organization headquartered in NYC.

DEAN MAVRIDES

Legal Advisor

Dean Mavrides serves as the Legal Advisor for Credo Sports & Entertainment. Additionally, Dean currently serves as the managing partner at Mavrides, Moyal, Packman, & Sadkin LLP, where he focuses his practice on corporate matters and real estate. Dean has strong expertise in entity formation and structure of domestic, foreign entities, tax matters, 1031 exchanges, lending practices, Truth and Lending regulations, creditors’ rights, title matters, and land use regulations. He represents many prominent lenders, developers, property operators, business owners, and investors as well as first-time and repeat homebuyers. Dean resides on the board of managers of three different investment groups where he provides legal advice on the acquisition, renovation, and lease of multi-family, mixed-use, condominium and various other real estate projects.

Dean started his legal career as an NBA Player Agent, negotiating employment contracts for professional athletes while holding extensive knowledge of the NBA collective bargaining agreement. He received his Juris Doctorate from Saint Thomas University School of Law in 1995, and became a licensed attorney in the state of New York in 1996.

JEFFREY ESPINOZA

Strength & Conditioning | Injury Prevention Consultant

Jeffrey Espinoza serves as a Strength & Conditioning/Injury Prevention Consultant for Credo Sports & Entertainment. Jeffrey is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and specializes in the field of sports. Jeffrey has worked with several elite NBA athletes throughout his career to help them improve their overall strength while increasing their awareness in living a healthy lifestyle.


Jeffrey graduated from Manhattan College with a degree in kinesiology and exercise science in 2007. He then graduated from New York Institute of Technology – Old Westbury as a Doctor of Physical Therapy in 2011. Jeffrey currently works as a Physical Therapist and practices in New York City.

HARRISON HEFELE

Director of Basketball Operations

Harrison Hefele serves as the Director of Basketball Operations for Credo Sports & Entertainment. Harrison has multiple years of coaching and playing experience that helps him understand the game at a higher level. During his undergraduate career, Harrison played shooting guard at the State University of New York at Cortland, playing all four seasons, and serving two as a starter. As a team captain in his senior year, Harrison played a fundamental part in leading the team to a 24-5 record, winning the SUNYAC title, and advancing in the NCAA Div. III tournament to the second round.

After college, Harrison went on to serve as the Assistant Coach for Friends Academy Varsity men's basketball team, as well as an Assistant Coach for the State University of New York at Cortland men's basketball team. While serving as a coach, Harrison watched 1,000+ hours of game film to analyze the skills of all players, including opponents, to provide the best strategic advantage for his team. Additionally, Harrison worked with guards to improve their ball handling and shooting skills.


Harrison graduated with a bachelor’s degree in education from the State University of New York at Cortland in 2013. Additionally, Harrison serves as a Product Designer, Content Developer, and Marketing Assistant for a startup sports app called sportsYou.
